At Sandown Campus, we are committed to preparing students for a successful future, encouraging them to explore their interests and develop their talents in a supportive and stimulating setting.
Sandown is one of the South African homes of the Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Program, run in partnership with Generation Schools.
Players train to Real Madrid’s own coaching methodology, built on three pillars: the player, the game and the mindset. Technical coaching sits alongside structured mentorship and values education, on the Foundation’s premise that football is a means of developing a person rather than only a player.
As a born educator and natural leader, I have revelled in my roles as a change protagonist, mentor, and manager with extensive exposure to the education, NGO, technology, and service sectors. I have worked as a teacher and school principal, and alongside State and private education heads for more than 20 years.
I am excited that I am a part of the Generation Schools Sandown Institute family and building meaningful relationships for the benefit of the school and the broader community.
