Home of the Real Madrid Foundation in Johannesburg

Taroko is the Johannesburg home of the Real Madrid Foundation Educational Football Program, run in partnership with Generation Schools and the first of its kind in South Africa.

Players train to Real Madrid’s own coaching methodology, built on three pillars: the player, the game and the mindset. Alongside the technical coaching sits structured mentorship, values education and support for socio-emotional growth, because the Foundation’s premise is that football is a way of developing a person, not only a player.

Head Of Campus

Ameeth Dheoraj is the Head of Campus at Generation Schools Taroko, bringing over 20 years of experience in education and school leadership. He is deeply committed to cultivating a culture of excellence and innovation that supports the development of well-rounded, confident, and capable students.

Ameeth holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education Management. His leadership approach focuses on building staff capacity through mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth, while using data-informed strategies to strengthen teaching practice and enhance learner outcomes. He believes that strong schools are built on empowered educators, clear systems, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
