Generation Schools Imhoff

Introduction

Discover the unique educational journey at Generation Schools Imhoff Campus. Nestled in a picturesque rural setting, our campus offers an inspiring backdrop for students to explore, learn, and grow.

We pride ourselves on delivering a balanced education that combines academic excellence with a focus on environmental stewardship and community involvement.

Gen Schools Imhoff Roof

Our junior school is Montessori-inspired: prepared classrooms, mixed-age groups and hands-on materials, taught alongside structured literacy and mathematics. From high school, families choose between the IEB and Cambridge International pathways, both taught here on campus.

With ample outdoor spaces, innovative classrooms and a strong sense of community, Imhoff gives students room to achieve their personal best and to become responsible, grounded global citizens.

IEB Comes to Imhoff in 2027

From January 2027, Generation Schools Imhoff will offer an IEB stream in Grades 8 and 9, running alongside our established Cambridge International pathway.

This is an addition, not a replacement. Cambridge International continues at Imhoff exactly as it is today, and every current Cambridge student can continue on that pathway without interruption. What changes is that families arriving into Grade 8 now have a genuine choice.

Football at Imhoff

Ranked 2nd in South Africa
Boys First Team Football, Fairtree National Rankings, SA School Sports, 26 July 2026.

Imhoff is one of the strongest school football programmes in the country. In the 2026 Fairtree National Football Rankings, our boys first team has been placed second nationally, ahead of schools many times our size and with far longer sporting histories.

That is not an accident of one good season. It comes from a coaching structure that treats football as a discipline to be taught properly, small squads where every player gets real coaching time, and a school culture that expects the same standards on the field as in the classroom.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, along with further qualifications in leadership and management. Reinhard’s leadership is grounded in collaboration, integrity, and shared purpose.
