Generation Schools Imhoff in Kommetjie is looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming parents, students, and visitors
Managing calls, student records, and admin tasks
Supporting school events and daily operations
Assisting staff and management when needed

Requirements:

Education: Matric (Grade 12).
Experience: Previous receptionist or admin experience; experience in an educational environment is a significant advantage.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience using a school information system.
Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication, professional appearance, and a calm demeanour under pressure.
Vetting: Must be willing to undergo a police clearance check (Sexual Offenders Register and Child Protection Register).

Reinhard De Klerk

Reinhard brings over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, mentor, and school leader. Throughout his career, he has led senior leadership teams across independent schools, driving initiatives that enhance academic excellence, support staff development, and build school cultures where students and families are placed at the centre.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, along with further qualifications in leadership and management. Reinhard’s leadership is grounded in collaboration, integrity, and shared purpose. He believes in leading from the front, setting direction, taking responsibility, and ensuring that success is collectively celebrated by staff, students, and parents.

Caronne Vermaak

Caronne qualified with a Higher Diploma of Education, majoring in Remedial Studies, and has also completed her Montessori Diploma. She has worked in many private schools in South Africa and abroad, finally finding her calling in educational leadership.
